Plastic Soup

The largest mountain of waste floats on the Pacific: a collection of plastic with an estimated area equal to the United States. The amount of waste, from bottle caps to toilet seats, grows with every piece of plastic that disappears into the sea. Due to the current, this "plastic soup", sometimes up to ten meters deep, sticks together in two places, somewhere around Hawaii and off the coast of Japan. This mind-boggling detail is the main theme of our debut album entitled Plastic Soup. With songs like Plastic Soup, Spit it out, Cradle to Cradle and Changing Habits, we want to target consumers, producers and politicians to think about current packaging methods and waste production. We certainly do not pretend to have the solution in house, but have become very aware of this environmental problem. By pioneers like captain Charles Moore and authoress Jesse GoossensHopefully a broad social debate will arise. We are therefore pleased to be able to contribute to this discussion.
